- Has various vampiric abilities! However, he doesn't have access to most of them because he either doesn't know about them or he hasn't tried them.
- If he has blood transfused into him instead of drinking it directly, which he does, it can change his personality.
- Akira doesn't actually have any traditional vampiric weaknesses, i.e. an aversion to sunlight, weakness to silver/crosses, etc.!
